Great Zimbabwe (Ruins), a medieval city in the south-eastern hills of Zimbabwe, thought to have been the capital of a great kingdom during the country’s late Iron Age. It is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
1 Night in Lodge at the Ancient City (3*)
Built on a granite outcrop, with views of the valley, the lodge faces the Great Zimbabwe monument. The main complex and guest lodges are built from stone and thatch. The 3 categories of rooms and suites mimic the surrounding cultural shelters, but have modern conveniences.
